Documentaton from an exhibition in Helsinki.

In March 2006 I did a exhibition in Helsinki with students from Helsinki academy of arts and some people from Gothenburg. I was there for two weeks and did some art pieces about Helsinki durig that time. Some of these artworks was directed to a specific person. Some of these pieces can be seen as a tourist-art documentation of a city.

During the period my sisters baby had his first birthday so I created a art piece specially for him. A finnish dictionary with the four words he knowed. I send it to him as a present.

A love letter in finnish.

I wrote a letter to a girl that I was seeing during that time. A love letter in finnish. I translated the words from a dictionary. This is just the text since I send the letter to the girl. She still got it. I think she contacted a finnish neighbour for translation. See text below.

Kirjoittaa tänä yönä huoneisto minä asua. Iso ja hieno huoneisto keskellä keskusta helsinki.
Ulkona kylmä talvi ja kevät kaukana. Sinä kaukana.
Kaivata sinä. Eilen minä karaoke helsinki. Erilainen Göteborg paljon suosittu vakava herkää. Minä laulla astis sinnä, AC/DC.
Helsinki paljon hieno. Arkkitehtuuri paljon kaunis monta museo. Helsinki tuntea isompi Göteborg. Tuntea pääkaupunki. Ihmiset tuntea hiljaisuus herkää rehellinen kuin Ruotsi. Laulla herkkä super.

Helsinki sama kuin pohjoinen Ruotsi. Helsinki kaukana mutta lähellä. Minä tahtoa elää
Helsinki? Ei, ehkää.
Tänään misää päällä Kiasma saha hyvin näyttely. Hauska katsoa kanssa sinä.
