A book/calender for my coming year (a calender between 2010-2110). I have done one book for myself and one for my sister sone on his 1 year birthday and one book to a friend.
I am using the book and have a idea that it one day will be filled with notes from my life. Since it will end 2110 I probably will not finnish the book.

Found Devices 2007-2008

Devices is a cemetery of old electronic objects. Some of the objects are old electronic parts that once had a value, but that today are forgotten and are seen more in landfill sites than shops. Some objects are interactive, like light, sound, motors. Other objects are broken, while some are restored to something else that reminds us of yesterday.

I made a computerprogram that creates pictures. The pictures created of the software was made into a handmade book. The book has 6 chapters, 500 pictures. The pages are cut out and you can pay as much you think its worth.  The book has been exhibited in San-Franscisco were many pages were stolen, but still there is many left. If you want to buy a page, please send me money (as much you think its worth..)and I will send you a page.

This artpiece has been going on for years. It started with a cardboard box from a light-bulb that I made into web-paintings that you could download from my webpage. Then I have used the same shape in netart (www.jimpalt.org/dipylon_war/), knitting (a collaboration with my mum) and screenprints. Whats from the beginning was a boxes for  light-bulbs became something else.
